A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Ismailiyya Palace, Baku Funicular, Baku Puppet Theatre, and other attractions. Popular historic sites such as Baku Old City and Juma Mosque are in your itinerary. Bring the kids along to Heydar Aliyev Center and Baku Boulevard. Step out of Baku to go to Gobustan and see Gobustan State Reserve, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. Next up on the itinerary: take in panoramic vistas at Maiden Tower, explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple, browse the different shops at Ganja Mall, and see the interesting displays at Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.
