A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Ateshgah Fire Temple, Port Baku Mall, CHELEBI Furniture and Décor, and other attractions you added. Start off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): contemplate the long history of Baku Old City, then see the interesting displays at Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, then examine the collection at Heydar Aliyev Center, and finally take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple, make a trip to Mud Volcanoes, look for gifts at ABAD, then stop by Menzer Hajiyeva Showroom, then look for gifts at CHELEBI Furniture and Décor, and finally browse the different shops at Port Baku Mall.

Sheki — 1 night

Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
On the 4th (Sun), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Kish, then admire the striking features of Sheki Khans' Palace, and then explore the world behind art at Museum of Folk and Applied Arts.

You can drive from Baku to Sheki in 4.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of flight and taxi; or take a train. Traveling from Baku in September, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Sheki, with lows of 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Mon) so you can drive to Gabala.
